Yarı insan, yarı titan Prometheus’un tanrılardan çalıp da insanlara verdiği ateş çok canlar yaktı. Gene insan eli ile çok insan yok etti… Belki de yarısından fazlasını yaşayan insanların… Ama bu Prometheus’un suçu değildi ki… O, insanların bilgisi gelişsin diye vermişti bilgiyi ve ateşi… Bunun cezası, Zeus tarafından Demirci Tanrı Hephaistos eli ile zincirlenmektir Kafkas Dağları’ndaki kayalıklara.
