This book, prepared for Learners of Turkish as a Foreign Language, aims to improve the reading, speaking, writing and listening skills at a basic level by focusing on the topics that are often needed in daily life. Each unit starts with either a reading or listening activity. Many photographs are included in order to enhance comprehension and increase vocabulary knovvledge. Tcrir-speaking" exercises are developed to help learners improve their speaking skills. Grammar points are introduced in a constructivist view within the units. At the end of each unit, it is desired to provide revision for the learners by giving various types of exercises about the topics in the unit.
